1. Gurmeet Choudhary-Debina Bonnerjee
Debina and Gurmeet turned overnight stars with Ramayan, where they starred as Sita and Ram respectively. Debina came to Mumbai for a talent hunt contest, where she met Gurmeet for the first time. But, it was only when she settled in Mumbai, Gurmeet, who was also her roommate's boyfriend friend, was actually introduced officially to her. And after they were cast together in Ramayan, they made their relationship official. Gurmeet and Debina got secretly married in 2006, even hid the news from their families, but announced their marriage on Nach Baliye in 2011.
2. Sushant Singh Rajput-Ankita Lokhande
Yes, we are talking about the super-idealist couple Manav and Archana, fromPavitra Rishta. The chemistry between the couple was very refreshing in the serial, because of their shy love and strong emotional bond. Sushant's busy Bollywood schedule often kept the two lovebirds apart, hence they decided to move in a live-in relationship. Marriage is already on their cards, and can happen anytime next year!
3. Nandish Sandhu-Rashami Desai
Yes, we are talking about Veer and Tapasya, who met on the sets of Uttaran. Despite playing the role of an estranged couple in the soap, the two are very much in love in real life. Like all other couples, initially they denied their relationship, but eventually confirmed it later. And, after Nandish proposed Rashmi on the eve of his birthday bash, they again turned a sensational couple. The two tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Vijaynagar, in February 2011. There were reports that Rashami reportedly moved out of Nandish's house, but for now it looks that the couple are making efforts to reconcile their relationship. Nandish and Rashami were participants in Nach Baliye of 2015.
4. Mahesh Shetty-Anisha Kapoor
The couple came closer while shooting together for their show, Ghar Ek Sapna.Both Mahesh and Anisha were never seen sharing screen space again, but this could not keep them separated. And while Mahesh was busy doing Bade Acche Lagte Hai, Anisha gained fame as Ragini in Zee’s Sanskaar Laxmi. The couple kept their relation under wraps, until they announced their wedding. They got hitched on November 20, 2011, in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family.
5. Raqesh Vashisth-Riddhi Dogra
Theirs was not an instant hit-off jodi, Raqesh Vashisth and Riddhi Dogra first come together on-screen for YRF's new show on Sony, Seven. They were barely on talking terms, but it was their serial Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? that cast as the lead pair. It was in 2011, that they announced their engagment, and later married in the same year. Raqesh believes Riddhi brought with her luck and endless love for him.
6. Aamir Ali-Sanjeeda Sheikh
They are one of the most sought after couple in the Indian TV industry. Aamir and Sanjeeda had been friends for too long, so it took them some time to realise their love for each other. After a few dates, the couple decided to take the relationship forward and went on participating in Nach Baliye, in 2007, as a couple, where they won against Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek Awasthi. Together they made appearances as couple in many shows like, Kya Dill Mein Hai, and Ek Hasina Thi. Eventually in 2012, the couple settled in holy matrimony.
7. Hiten Tejwani–Gauri Pradhan
They can very well be tagged as the first jodi of the Indian Television's 21stcentury. Their love-hate relationship in Kutumb was the ultimate test of the chemistry that was brewing between them, so much so that Ekta had to rope in Gauri to play the lead opposite Hiten in her mega show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. When you look at it from the angle that Hiten is the mischief creating, happy-go-lucky guy and Gauri is a little reserved, no-nonsense kind of a girl, you actually believe that opposites attract. The happiness in their relationship quadrupled with the arrival of their twins, a son and a daughter in 2009.
8. Indraneil Sengupta-Barkha Bisht
Barkha and Indraneil met on the sets of Pyaar ke do Naam –Ek Raadha Ek Shyaam. It was not before long when their on-screen love as Radha and Shyam began to show off-screen as well. The couple got married in 2008, and are blessed with a lovely daughter.
9. Ram Kapoor-Gautami Gadgil
Ram and Gautami are one of the most loved and adored couples of the Indian television. The love brewing amid them was evident to their fans. The couple starred in Ghar Ek Mandir, but their poles apart personalities led them away from each other. As they say opposites attract, eventually this couple too fell for each other. They had to convince their families, as they were against their marital liaison. The couple, however, tied the knot in 2003, on February 14, on the Valentine's Day.
10. Manav Gohil-Shweta Kawatra
Their friendship goes back to the time when they both were working on popular TV soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, and Kkusum. Both Shweta and Manav hit it off and soon turned the best of friends. But it was Manav's growing fondness for her that made Shweta a bit uncomfortable (as both had suffered in past relationships). During an interview, Shweta shared how she felt uncomfortable and confused, as she did not want to trouble their friendship, so they politely parted. But, soon realised that they were terribly missing each other. After almost three and half years of courtship, the couple decided to get married.
